This book is one of those that is difficult for me to review. It is a complex collection of a typical billionaire romance with a touch of wannabe suspense romance.
While I enjoyed the instalove and intense attraction, I felt more connected with Lorenzo then I did with Bella. She is written as and comes off to me as a weak personality and that to me is a turn off.
The author treats us to an intense relationship with plenty of hot scenes and steamy sex. Lorenzo is a bit arrogant but highly protective too. I love his fierceness and it balances well for Bella's personality.
For the most part this book is well-written although there were a few spots along the way that were choppy. But I really wanted more of the story. This is a fast read where a lot more development would have really helped the connection to the reader and the buy in.
Overall, this is a good first effort from a new author. I will check out other stories by her in the future

This is a quick read it's a novella of only 143 pages but I did like it. Yes the story could have been made longer, pushed a little more, maybe given us Epilogue. I would have of happily read more from this story but don’t get me wrong what we are given is good.
I did find Lorenzo a bit of a jerk and arrogant in the beginning but then with his protective and loyal side he really did grow on me. And besides he was HOT lol. The sex scenes wooo very HOT and STEAMY.
Bella I felt was a little weak, she seemed to be scared of everything. This I did find kind of annoying but yes there is a BUT when you read more and get to know her back story to it. Her back story kind of makes sense of how she behaves and you feel bad for what she has been through.
I wish we would have found out more though. I don't want to give spoilers away but Alex was very disturbing, freaking crazy I mean. Over all I did like this book and would recommend it.

While I enjoyed the general premise of this story, I felt it moved too fast to be realistic.
Bella meets Lorenzo at a bar and despite the obvious attraction between the two, Bella sticks to her decision to avoid all men after what happened to her not that long ago. Lorenzo is captured by Bella as most women would do anything to get him to pay them even the slightest attention. But Bella isn't like other women at all.
After going out to dinner with Lorenzo, he takes her away for a weekend. This is where the story moved too fast; she has a horrible past with a man she thought she trusted yet she jumps on a plane (and then a helicopter) to fly away with one man she barely knows (other than what is reported in the media). While I think their time alone in Monaco helped their attraction, I think it was too fast given the supposed history that Bella has. The ending of the book disappointment me; I think Bella acted very immature when faced with a difficult situation especially given how honest Lorenzo had been with her up until that point about how much she meant to him.
Overall, not a bad book I think it just needed some more depth.

What I Liked Bella is a challenge for Lorenzo and I appreciate that in this story. It’s so important to not do what is expected and that is exactly what Bella does. She doesn’t call when he tells her to and she doesn’t chase him like the other girls do and I love that.
Not So Much I felt like I jumped right into the story way too fast and the rest of the book kept that pace. The couple only had one date and they both claim to know each other so well. After the first date which consisted of dinner, some short lustful moments, a breathing view, a dramatic departure and a car nap, Lorenzo claims, “He admired Bella a great deal.” How does he know that? They barely exchanged dialogue with each other.
The writing. Show me! Don’t tell me! Use your descriptive writing to make me come to conclusions on my own. Everything was written for me so plain and simple that the book was boring. Plus, some of the lines were a bit cheesy and over-the-top for me.
“For her, getting involved in any way with a man like Lorenzo was like gambling. And the stakes were very high because she wasn’t left with anything to give but what was left of her heart. And if it was taken away from her and broken this time, she would be left with nothing and she would be as good as dead. But, if she won, Bella had a strong feeling that he could also be her salvation.”
Lines like this, made me want to put the book down. The plot has potential but the writing jumped around too much and there was no flow to it.
Overall I really struggled to get through this book. While I respect anyone who decides to write a book, the writing just could not hold my attention. Just my opinion.
Really loved this one! Great story line, The author took her time in developing the characters ... Loved all the little details and descriptions ... won't go wrong in purchasing. I will be looking forward to read more books for Lucie Babikian !
Belonging to Him was a great quick read with plenty of hot and steamy scenes that lent a lot to the plot.
The shocking ending was also fantastic!
I can;t wait to read Lucie's next book!
